Trusting the process (properly understood)
“Trust the process” is true… if the process is good. Misunderstood, it’s the perfect excuse to keep doing something that doesn’t work.
Why results take time
Almost everything worthwhile works like the compound interest you saw in the Stocks section: at first nothing shows, and then it suddenly speeds up. One video a day changes nothing in a week. 365 videos in a year give you practice, style and, with luck, one that takes off.
What you see: Month 1 → nothing · Month 3 → a little · Month 6 → something
What’s happening inside: you learn, improve, build up.
Most people give up exactly in the part where nothing shows.

Careful with the line “if you get 1% better every day, in a year you’ll be 37 times better”. The maths is a toy: nobody improves exactly 1% a day. The idea behind it (small things repeated add up a lot) is good; the exact numbers aren’t.
Patience or stubbornness
PatienceYou do the right things, measure, see small improvements (even if there’s no money yet) and adjust.
StubbornnessYou repeat the same thing for months with no improvement, measuring nothing and changing nothing, “because you have to trust”.
How to know if your process is working
- Look at the small signs, not just the end result: is it getting easier? Are your videos better than last month’s? Do you know more than three months ago?
- Review every week: what worked, what didn’t and what you’ll change.
- Set a date for a serious review (for example, at 90 days) and decide with data, not emotions.
