Clothes and trainers
Branded clothes and trainers have a good margin and sell a lot on Vinted. The big risk is fakes.
What sells well
- Well-known brands in good condition, especially in season (coats in autumn, swimwear in spring).
- Sought-after trainers and limited editions.
- Vintage clothes and old football shirts.
- Bundles of children’s clothes: parents buy lots second-hand.
Checking it’s genuine
- Labels, stitching, logos and the code on the inside label.
- Compare with photos of a genuine model on the brand’s website.
- For expensive trainers there are authentication services that check them for a fee.
- If you can’t tell the difference, don’t buy that brand.
Selling clothes fast
- Washed, ironed and on a hanger or worn, in natural light.
- Real measurements in the description (length, chest width), not just the size.
- Bundle things that are worth little on their own.
Selling fakes as genuine is illegal and gets your account closed. No margin is worth it.
